Classroom Policies

My classroom expectations are basic and achievable. I expect students to enter class with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Students are expected to contribute to class discussion, remain attentitive to instruction and show respect for others in the class setting.

A proficient passing score is expected on quizzes and classroom activities.

Attendance is one of the most important components to success in my classroom. Students are expected to attend classes daily to insure a continuous progression through the required material.

My favorite animal is the turtle. I wear a turtle necklace often to remind students that it was the tortoise who completed the race by staying focused and persistent. Meanwhile, the hare had other priorities and was to busy bragging about himself and never did pass the finish line.
