During this school year’s Winter Season, Glass City Academy took off various Online (Snow) Days and 1-Hour Delays. The state requires that all students have the opportunity to be educated for 920 hours per school year. Should the number of Online (Snow) Days and 1-Hour Delays take away enough hours to reduce the total amount below 920 Hours, the school must make up those hours. Glass City Academy needs to make-up approximately 5 hours of time. To accomplish that, school will start at 8:05am instead of 8:15 am starting on the return from Spring Break, April 13, 2026. This will be in effect until the necessary hours are made up.
